Check the accuracy of your humidity sensor

Hello, here is a very easy way to check the accuracy of the humidity external sensor. A simple, easy to do at home means of calibrating hygrometers uses standard salt and a sealed container. Table salt, when used properly, will maintain an exact 75% humidity in a perfectly sealed environment. So, to...

Re: Help!!

Hello, Related to the problem I had when connecting a GPS unit that made the clock crashed when sending data without a 3Dfix: I found a workaround with the GPS unit: I made a small adapter so that the GPS will send data to the clock only when a 3Dfix is OK. With that, the clock always receive data t...

Re: Help!!

Hi Tony, I have a problem with the GPS: - I connected a Neo-6 GPS unit (consumption is below 70mA) and at the first attempt, it worked well : the clock displayed the time synchronized with the GPS - but, after powering down the clock and powering it up again (with the GPS connected), the clock start...

Re: Help!!

Hi Tony, I got a faint glow on the DP's when the tube display a 3, 4, 5 or 7. This is due to the fact that when a low level is applied on D8 (or D16), it is supposed to switch off T11: But with the 0,6V voltage drop in D8 (or D16), the voltage between T11 base and emitter is around 0.6V instead of 0...

Re: Thermometer PIC code

Hi Tony,
I ordered the thermometer a couple of weeks ago. Could you tell me if the PIC is programmed with the version that recognize an external DHT22/AM2302 ?
Or should I re-programmed it with the right version?

Thank you in advance for your answer
